Baccarat is one of the easiest card games to learn, yet it never loses its appeal no matter how many times you play — which is exactly why it remains the top choice among live casino players across Asia, including Malaysia. At WG69, baccarat is more than just a game; it's a complete experience that combines the thrill of play, real dealer interaction, and genuinely exciting cash-winning opportunities.
Many people assume baccarat is a complex game reserved for experienced players in upscale casinos dressed to the nines. The truth is, baccarat is one of the simplest casino games in terms of rules. You only need to make one decision — bet on Player, Banker, or Tie. That's it. The dealer handles everything else. There are no complex strategy decisions like in poker or blackjack. This is exactly what makes baccarat at WG69 so popular among players of all backgrounds in Malaysia.
Players new to WG69's baccarat tables often want to know — which is the better bet, Player or Banker? Statistically, Banker holds a slight edge with a 45.86% win rate compared to Player's 44.62%. This is why WG69, like all casinos, charges a 5% commission on winning Banker bets. Even after that 5% commission, the Banker bet still carries a lower house edge than Player. For this reason, many experienced baccarat players tend to favour the Banker side more often.
What about the Tie bet? The 8:1 odds may look attractive, but the probability of a Tie is only 9.52% — meaning the house edge on a Tie bet is significantly higher than on Player or Banker. Experienced baccarat players at WG69 generally avoid the Tie as their primary wager, though some place a small bet on it occasionally for variety. It's not off-limits, but understanding the statistics can help you make smarter decisions.
One feature that WG69 baccarat players truly appreciate is the comprehensive Road Map display. In baccarat, the Road Map is a visual record of previous round results shown as coloured dots. There are four different Road Map types — Big Road, Bead Road, Big Eye Road and Small Road. Players who know how to read them can identify patterns and make more informed betting decisions. WG69 automatically displays all Road Maps on every baccarat table, with no manual tracking required from the player.
Squeeze Baccarat at WG69 is the variant that best captures the true spirit of Asian baccarat. In Squeeze, the dealer doesn't reveal the cards immediately — instead, each card is held and slowly peeled open from the corner, building extraordinary tension, especially when the total is close to 8 or 9. If you've ever experienced the atmosphere of a casino in Macau or Genting Highlands, Squeeze Baccarat at WG69 will bring that feeling right back — only this time from the comfort of your home or wherever you happen to be.
Dragon Bonus Baccarat is an exciting addition for players who want more than a straight win or loss. The Dragon Bonus side bet lets you earn an extra bonus payout when the side you bet on wins by a large point margin. For example, if Banker wins by a 9-point gap, your Dragon Bonus bet can pay out up to 30 times your stake. It's a shot at a big win in a single round — something classic baccarat simply doesn't offer.
When it comes to bankroll management, savvy WG69 baccarat players typically rely on systems like Flat Betting — where the wager stays the same every round regardless of previous results. This is far safer than systems like Martingale, which require you to double your bet after every loss and can drain your balance quickly. Set a daily loss limit before you start playing and stick to it — this is the best practice WG69 recommends to all our players.
